Biography

Evanora is a heavy metal band formed in Valencia in 2020 following the dissolution of al-Andalus Rock. Pedro, “El Indio” (bass), Luis Rodríquez (drums), and J.L. Montesinos (vocals) joined the Italian guitarist Paolo Olivieri based in Sagunto and began to play throughout the Valencian Community as soon as the pandemic allowed, debuting at Peter Rock in Valencia on June 10, 2021. Meanwhile, they began circulating their first LP called generically “I” on December 10, 2021. The album was produced by Paolo himself and recorded between July and November 2021, featuring 9 songs.

The LP, with a very classic style and clear influences from Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, or Motorhead, was well received and had a broad impact among the Spanish specialized press. Thus, during 2022 they have been touring and playing primarily in the eastern part of Spain in various concerts, where the number of attendees at each one is growing.

In summer 2022, they decided to record again, including along with new compositions, a couple of classics from Sable and al-Andalus Rock, “Símbolos” and “En el tiempo” respectively, which are part of their regular concert repertoire. In September, recording began, in which they will have the collaboration of Rafa Játiva, founder of Sable, on the guitars for “Símbolos”. The artist and film director, Sam Conflictivo, will be in charge of the publication’s artwork.

On April 27, 2023, they released their second album “Acostúmbrate” with 7 tracks while the band continues with the concert schedule, with dates for 2023.

Starting in summer 2024, Luis Rodriguez joins on drums
